Well, What Did You Expect?

"What will we name it?" Tsuzuki asked, eyes bright.

Hisoka eyed Tsuzuki with trepidition. "I haven't agreed to this, you know."

Watari was nodding at them with enthusiasm. "You must, Hisoka! As long as you go along with this experiment, I'll even suggest that TSUZUKI carries it!"

Tsuzuki looked suddenly alarmed. "Me?! I thought you said Hisoka would be the one carrying my beautiful child!"

"Carry your own damn child," Hisoka muttered, and rose to leave the room. Watari grabbed onto his sleeve, 003 flying up in alarm. "Wha-?"

"You can't go!" Watari babbled, "This is my first breakthrough!"

Tatsumi glanced up from his notes. "Watari, they're both boys."

The scientist shook his head furiously. "That's just it! Male pregnancy's the next wave in experimental gender! If I ever want to be a girl, I have to make sure this works!"

"And also, they're dead. Now, sit down. We have a meeting to run."

Grumblingly, Watari took his seat. Hisoka took his with more than a little relief, eyeing everyone as if he expected them to get him pregnant which, frankly, he probably did expect.

Tsuzuki sighed and propped his chin on the briefing-room table. "I hope it's a girl."
