He says his time there has tired him out, and Yuna can hardly mind that. Secretly, she suspects it's not all the time he's spent before but the way he's thrown himself back into ghe game, training the Aurochs down on the beach day in and day out now that Wakka's too busy with his new baby. Still, he's tired out for some reason, and gets to sleep early each night in his hut. She can't keep herself from checking on him when he's asleep.

It's one night that she sees something tucked in his arms as he sleeps, and she walks over, kneels by the bed to get a better look without risking waking him. It's a doll, wearing a red felt robe, its hair soft brown yarn, and she smiles after a moment in sad memory.

She meets Lulu a few doors down, sitting outside and nursing her baby in the evening air.

"Did you make it for him?" Yuna asks, quietly.

Lulu shifts the baby to her shoulder, pats its back gently until she gets a burp. "Tidus never really had a father," she says, not quite answering.

"Tidus never really had anything, did he?"

Lulu shakes her head. "That's not quite the case, Yuna. But I've had to think about it lately, I suppose."

Yuna's nose wrinkles as she smiles, biting back a quiet laugh.

"Would you call me sentimental?"

Twining her fingers behind her back, Yuna sways a bit as she pretends to consider the question, smiling. "Yes," she says, and laughs. "But I wouldn't say that's bad. Can you make one for me?"

Lulu's eyebrows raise. "Of Auron?"

"Of my father."

Lulu doesn't quite smile. "Yes," she says. "But it may take a little while. This one doesn't like sleeping through the nights."

"That's fine," Yuna says. She starts to turn, to head back to the beach where the Celcius idled, then turns back. "Lulu?"

"Yes?"

"Thank you."

She does smile now. "Go to sleep, Yuna."
