Victory music played and they all did their little dances before they stopped to strip the monster of anything valuable it had ever known.

"Glow in the dark bangle accessory," Zidane said, perplexed, as he held it up to examine it. "Why the hell would an overgrown yeti wear glow in the dark bangles?"

"........." Dagger said, easily ignored.

Shyly, Vivi suggested, "M-maybe it t-took it off another v-victim?"

Zidane grinned. "Man, Vivi, you're so smart. I knew we kept you around for a reason." He tossed the bangles up in the air, but before he could grab them again, Dagger dashed in and did it for him.

She clutched the bangles to her heart, then slowly slid them on one wrist - yes! Immunity to darkness! She did a little dance.

Zidane looked at her sympathetically. "Uh - by the way, why are you even in our party?"

"I mean, you can't summon shit, and you can't cast spells, and you hit things for, like, two damage."

Dagger looked hurt. "..."

"Also, you can't talk."

She stuck her tongue out at him, and held the bangles close. They were hers, and nobody could ever take them away from her! Nobody!
